Good Shepherd Elementary School's
Thank You
PRESENT NOW launched a Homeschool Emergency E-Drive to send Amazon e-gift cards to our Shelter Partners during COVID-19. The drive raised thousands of dollars worth of e-gift cards for our shelters. Our Shelter Partners were so grateful for this contribution; they could purchase a variety of goods that they needed during quarantine lockdowns.
We just received a special thank you note from Good Shepherd Shelter, and it was too touching not to share.

The Good Shepherd Shelter was the first shelter PRESENT NOW ever partnered with. In fact, the idea for PRESENT NOW came about when co-founders Melanie Neumann and Erica Fisher visited The Good Shepherd Shelter for the first time. Good Shepherd Shelter used the Amazon funds from our drive to purchase books and art crafts for their Elementary School students. Now, the school has books that suit every child’s unique learning level. These books and art kits are part of The Good Shepherd Elementary School’s Excellence Literacy and Art Program. We are so happy to have contributed to these children’s educations during COVID-19, a time when most schools are shut down. |
“Your donation of Amazon gift cards for our kids is a blessing. The children are eager to read their new books and participate in the art crafts so that they can learn and communicate better with friends and family.”
